Dad Suggested Music ….

Dia de Muertos, Mazatlan, 2016Is someone in your life sick or suffering? Or do you need peaceful background music, while you paint and think? The answers for me are Yes and Yes.  My Dad must have known that, because he suggested listening to music this week with magical healing properties. Dad wrote…

“I have encountered music with magical healing properties composed with the Solfeggio scale with nine specific healing frequencies that are claimed to have beneficial effects on our bodies. I did a short web search to identify the source of the Solfeggio scale.  Apparently the frequencies were used in Gregorian Chants originally composed and sung by Benedictine monks in the Middle Ages. … The attached video accompanied by Solfeggio music is gorgeous and I thought all of you might enjoy and benefit….

After listening to the Solfeggio Frequency and looking at the groovy YouTube video, I went on a quest this week to look for more such music. I found binaural beats and discussions on the “healing frequencies” of music. I also found this one on my own:

432 Hz Celestial Angel Music (listen here). “Modern science has begun to recognize what the ancient mystics and wise men have told us for centuries; that everything is in a constant state of vibration. Everything down to the smallest physical particle to the things we cannot not perceive with our (yet) limited senses.
The most elemental state of vibration is that of sound. Everything has an optimum range of vibration (frequency), and that rate is called resonance.”

I think this is a perfect season to listen to such music. In fact, I can think of no better way to get ready for the Solar Eclipse coming this August to America, than to listen to frequency music and think of the universe.

Now a reminder, before you quote me as an expert,  ha ha ha… I am just a blogger,  not a music expert or an astrologer. I used to be good in school and that’s all I can claim. Now I am more of an emotional sap and artist, with a sponge for a brain that soaks in music. I used to be so strong, but now I cry at small things, like at the end of movies. Maybe its my age.

May you all find the music that your hearts need…
